Back in India: Our Annual Furniture Buying Adventure

I’m back in India again on a buying trip with my Dad and David! This marks our annual journey to purchase some gorgeous Indian furniture from the vibrant city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, to bring back home to Brighton and Hove, UK.

On our first day, we’ve already selected some stunning pieces that I can’t wait to share! I’ll be posting photos below, showcasing the unique furniture we’ve chosen for pricing. It has been a pleasure reconnecting with our good friend and main supplier, who treated us to a delicious home-cooked meal brought straight to the office. Coincidentally, today is his birthday, making our visit even more special.

It’s heartening to see his son stepping up to take on the more challenging aspects of the business, allowing his father to enjoy a more relaxed pace. Throughout the day, we’ve explored an incredible variety of items—figures, cabinets, trunks, and so much more! From exquisite teak wood to intricately carved mango wood, and amazing hand-painted pieces, we’ve discovered treasures both large and small.

All in all, it’s been a fantastic day filled with great finds and wonderful company. Stay tuned for photos and updates on our exciting journey!
