These salvaged metal cooking trays were once use to cook Idli. Idli are a type of savoury rice cake, popular as breakfast foods throughout India and northern Sri Lanka made by steaming a batter consisting of fermented black lentils and rice. We’ve imported these trays for use as inventive tea light holders, perfect for dinner parties or to gently light those cosy evenings.
