It has been constructed from old teak wood and has characterful locking wooden pegs. A further unusual aspect are the sloping legs which splay out to the front. Just below the top surface is a cross beam which has a number of hand carved floral motifs and decoration, while possibly some sacred symbolism too. An additional feature is both the lower shelf and also the corbel like front extensions that jut out at the top. An extraordianry item of furniture that exudes both character and charm.
