BLUE SHOWCASE CABINET

This wonderful blue showcase cabinet has been made using a mix of reclaimed hardwood and skilfully constructed in Jodhpur. The upper glass-panelled cupboard has a fitted shelf, while an open storage shelf can be found at the base of the piece. The overall look of the cabinet has been further enhanced with a criss-cross of timber built into each of the lower sides. An unusual piece that could be utilised in a kitchen, while it would not look out of place in either a living or dining room – providing a flexibility in storage items.

Visual Description

This piece has been finished in a ‘Jodhpur’ Blue. It consists of a shelf near the base allowing for a large storage area. Above this is a glass encased area, with one shelf. The edges at the lower half of the unit are made from crossed wood. On the top of the piece are four corner pieces which protrude to give the item a more interesting look. There are two metal handles attached, and beneath this is evidence of handles from its past.

Uses

A versitile piece which would stand perfectly within an attractive kitchen. It could hold some crockery or pots and pans, maybe some food products.
