Wooden Box with Heavy Metal Decoration

We were a little blown away by this piece as it really is a sight to behold (and a real pain to carry!) The lid of this box is made with darkly finished reclaimed hardwood, its wonderful character and age defined by its slightly distressed look. The lid opens to reveal a large open storage space though one must be of the internal metal fixings. The real swansong of this piece is its frontage. Uniquely decorated with heavy metal hardware, the front of this sturdy cabinet is a collage of old hinges, large rustic padlocks and antique bolts. This piece is not to everyone’s taste but we are sure that there is a home or business out there that would give this truly different item a happy home (we’ll be sad to see it go!)
