CARVED WALL PANEL
This exceptional old teak carved wall panel originates from Gujarat, where it was beautifully hand carved. It is late 19th Century, and likely used in an entrance/door way, though we have seen them used in bookcases. A stunning architectural piece of hand carving with the depiction of, in part, an elephant head and full trunk, with an elaborate and decorative floral front edge. A wonderful, original and individual item that would make for an interesting wall decoration; fabulous.
